Along with the timing, the Valorant tweet that detailed the information also hinted at the name of the first season, Episode 1 Ignition. A new Agent, Reyna, will be available to play as soon as the game is launched. Fans are excited to find out what each season will hold for the tactical shooter.

Valorant will release on June 2, and players will be able to access the game’s servers very soon. The game is less than 24 hours away for North America. The exact timing for each region is as follows:

6/1 at 7 PM ET for Korea, Japan, and most of Asia-Pacific

6/2 at 1 AM ET for Europe, Turkey, MENA, Russia, and CIS countries

6/2 at 8 AM ET for North America, Latin America, and South America

There is already some information known about Reyna, the vampire-Agent in Valorant. She seems to be able to heal herself by taking life from her enemies, along with being able to throw a distracting orb, like some of the other Agents can. Still, many details won’t be able to be fully understood until players get her in their own hands when the game drops.

Although the beta was extremely successful, it was lacking in some of the deep content, so the full game will hopefully include a more robust package. There also were not many levels to play, but a new map for Valorant will also be a part of the June 2 launch.

Valorant compares to games like CS:GO thanks to its round-based tactical gameplay, making it clearly inspired by the popular shooter. But it also has elements of games like Rainbow Six Seige and Overwatch, with its Agent abilities that can turn the tide of battle. The gaming community has taken to Valorant quite fondly, and the full release of the game is almost guaranteed to be a success. Time will tell if Riot Games can keep the momentum going over the long haul, but it has had success doing so with its other games like League of Legends.

Valorant will launch on June 2, 2020, for PC.
